So by aiming to master everything you're basically working to make every single item have a permanent value increase as a future investment. The reason you want to craft everything is because you will always encounter items from quests or from vendors selling stuff to you, so when you reach a certain milestone for an item, the value of it goes up permanently. You want to save shards and then pump them into the item type. The above are just examples but that's basically the formula. You want to specialise one type for every common/rare resource type. That's just the overall goal, just craft everything.īut in terms of specialisation, you want to be saving your ascension shards until you realise what you like to craft and what you get a lot of from questing (you kind of have to be conscious about this). Majority of the game, you should be crafting everything and mastering everything, from the bottom tiers then eventually moving up to the highest tier, but this is super late game and will take you over a thousand hours.
